



What can you expect from your dog after 6 sessions in basic obedience?
Sit command
Come command
Stay command
Down command
Walking on leash without pulling
Extreme distractions—such as another dog running directly past your dog after a ball
Distance commands up to the length of a football field (over 100 meters)
Hand signals—your dog will respond to either voice or hand commands
Once you and your dog have completed basic obedience, reinforcement and advanced training is available. You will increase your confidence in handling your dog when you are able to use 1 word commands or hand signals for:
Hold Sit
Hold Down
Come
Stay
In addition, your dog will be trained to ignore major distractions.
In Advanced Obedience all these skills are taught Off-leash control, not just in your back yard but in the midst of many other dogs OFF LEASH!
K9 Capabilities wiill come to your home to feed, walk or visit dog while owner is away for extended period.
Trainer will teach the client how to properly walk the dog by getting it to focus on the handeler and to use its mind and body.
Client will have 1 hour to work with a trainer and on their own, using the K9 Capabilities agility course.
Client and trainer will work with dog on specific issues related to aggression, separation anxiety or obsessive behaviours.
Our group session runs from 7:00 pm–8:15 pm, Monday and Wednesday over the course of 3 weeks (6 sessions). This immersion method has proven to be highly effective in accelerating the learning process for both dogs and their owners. Group Training is a great value. With an average of 6 clients per instructor (maximum of 6 dogs), individual instruction is used in our group sessions.
